CONWAY, Ark. — The Millsaps women's soccer team fought Hendrix College to a 2-2 draw at Warrior Soccer Field on Friday. It was the Majors' first result against the Warriors since 2013.
The Majors managed to score both of their goals on just five total shots, while Hendrix applied pressure with 25 shots, 14 of which were on target.

Alex Bremond scored two goals, converting one penalty kick and registering all four of her shots on target.

r Emily Lozano recorded 12 saves across 90 minutes in goal while facing 25 opportunities.
In the first half, Hendrix pressured an early shot towards Lozano within the fourth and sixth minutes of the contest.
Moments later, Hendrix managed to break through with a goal in the 38th minute to put their team ahead 1-0.
Soon after, the Majors quickly responded, with Bremond converting a penalty kick at the 42nd minute to equalize the match at 1-1, concluding a tightly contested first half.
The second half began with Hendrix's aggressive plays, featuring a quick goal by the Warriors in the 56th minute to push Hendrix ahead 2-1.
The Majors responded rapidly, with Bremond equalizing in the 58th minute, bringing the score to 2-2.
Despite Hendrix's multiple shots and corner kicks, the second half ended with the score locked at 2-2, with both teams demonstrating a tense and balanced contest.
It was the Majors' first result against Hendrix since Oct. 5, 2013, which also was played in Conway.
The Majors will be back in action on Sunday to face the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Ark. The matchup will begin at 1 p.m., and live video and live stats will be available at gomajors.com. Video will be accessed through a FloCollege subscription.
