Millsaps Football and Soccer Announce Schedule Changes for Friday

Majors to Host Soccer Doubleheader at 11 a.m., Football at 5:30 p.m.

JACKSON, Miss. — Due to anticipated heavy rainfall and inclement weather from Hurricane Isaias, the Millsaps College men's and women's soccer team as well as the Millsaps College football program are making schedule changes for the weekend of Oct. 9-11.

The Majors will host Oglethorpe University for an 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. soccer doubleheader, beginning with the women's matchup, on Friday. Football will now host Centre College to follow with a 5:30 p.m. kickoff on Friday.

Millsaps men's and women's swimming and diving hosts Berry College, Rhodes College, and Meridian Community College for a quad meet, beginning at 12 p.m. indoors at GRIT Training in Flowood, Miss.

The Millsaps men's and women's soccer teams will then host Berry College for another doubleheader, beginning 11 a.m. These times as well as the swimming and diving meet start remain unchanged from the originally scheduled starts at this time.
