JACKSON, Miss. – Millsaps College Athletics is excited and honored to name its Millsaps College Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2026 as well as the recipient of the Sam Knox Distinguished Service Award.
The Class of 2026 marks the 51st induction class, which dates back to the first class in 1968. Millsaps College welcomes to the hall
Erica Cook '11 (Track and Field / Volleyball),
John Fox '05 (Baseball),
Mike Galatas '11 (Football / Track and Field),
Jason Hadley '07 (Baseball),
Christina Sharp Bost '06 (Softball), and
John Shivers '10 (Football).
Long-time supporter of Millsaps College Athletics, Faculty Athletics Representative, and Millsaps College professor
Dr. Timothy Ward will be presented with the Sam Knox Distinguished Service Award.
On Friday, Sept. 18, the Class of 2026, Dr. Ward along with 2025 Hall of Fame inductee
Deena Li Kam Wa will be recognized at the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame & Museum in Jackson. Everyone will be reintroduced and honored during halftime of the Hall of Fame Game against Hendrix College on Saturday, Sept. 19. Tickets to both events will be available and details will be announced at a later date.
