JACKSON, Miss. – The Millsaps College women's basketball program earned a spot into the 2026 NCAA Women's Basketball Championship and will take on No. 13 Bethel (Minn.) University, which was officially announced during a selection show on Monday.
The Majors and Royals will square off at 7:45 p.m. on Friday, with No. 1 seed Bethel playing as host inside the Robertson Center in Arden Hills, Minn. The first game will feature No. 19 ranked and No. 2 seed UW-Plattesville and No. 3 seed Coe College at 5:15 p.m.
Winners of both contests will face off in the Second Round, beginning at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday.
Following their second Southern Athletic Association Tournament title in three seasons, the Majors will play in their fourth NCAA Women's Basketball Championship. Millsaps previously competed in the 1995, 1996, and 2024 NCAA Championships.
Millsaps is 1-3 in previous NCAA postseason play after defeating Hendrix College, 65-57 in the 1996 First Round.
