Millsaps Golf Clears Second Round of 2026 SAA Golf Championships

Trio of Majors Make Moves Up Leaderboard on Saturday

DICKSON, Tenn. – The Millsaps College men's and women's golf programs completed the Second Round of the 2026 Southern Athletic Association Golf Championships, which featured movement by several of the Majors at the Greystone Golf Club on Saturday.

Sophomore Charlie Berglund now paces the Majors after moving up five spots into a tie for 32nd on the leaderboard. He fired a 1-over 73 to now sit plus-7 overall for the tournament. Berglund highlighted Saturday's performance with an eagle on the 17th hole.

Senior Steven Noack shot up six spots, and now is tied for 39th after carding a 2-over 74 and is plus-11 overall. Junior Julius Kroell moved up three positions on the leaderboard into a tie for 44th after tallying a 5-over 77. Kroell and sophomore Miles Harrison are both plus-15 through two of three rounds.

Freshman Jack Ritter (47th) has carded a plus-20, while sophomore Noble Burns (48th) has scored a plus-26.

On the women's side, sophomore Abigail Cerwick is tied for 40th at plus-32 after two rounds of par 72.

The Millsaps College men's and women's golf teams will take part in the Final Round, beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday. Live leaderboards can be found at gomajors.com.
