Millsaps Men's Soccer Announces 2026 Schedule as World Cup Begins

Majors Compete in 18 Regular-Season Matches

JACKSON, Miss. — The Millsaps men's soccer team sets its sight on a highly anticipated 2026 fall campaign after its schedule was announced by the Millsaps College Department of Athletics on Thursday.

The Majors, led by fourth-year head coach Gentry Johnson, will look to compete in a full slate of regular-season matchups. This includes a competitive mix of non-conference contests, conference showdowns, and preseason exhibitions. In total, fans will have multiple opportunities to watch the Majors at Harper Davis Field throughout the 2026 season.

Following four exhibitions (three home, one away), Millsaps opens the regular season for a pair of early September contests, starting at Pensacola Christian College on Sept. 4. Then the team will travel to face United States Sports University on Sept. 5 and 6, where the reserves will play the first match.

The Majors return home to host LeTourneau University on Sept. 12 before traveling to MUW on Sept. 14. Road contests continue in Arkansas at Hendrix College on Sept. 18, and Lyon College on Sept. 20.

Millsaps returns to Harper Davis Field to host Centenary College on Sept. 25 before heading across town for a road matchup at Belhaven University in the Riverside Derby on Sept. 29.

October begins Southern Athletic Association play with a road trip to Maryville College on Oct. 2 and Sewanee on Oct. 4. The Majors then host Oglethorpe University on Oct. 9, and Berry College on Oct. 11.

Millsaps travels to Tougaloo in nearby Ridgeland, Miss., on Oct. 15, and Rhodes College on Oct. 21. The final home match will feature Centre College on Oct. 25.
