LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Millsaps volleyball program continues to shine academically off the court and earned recognition on the 2026 AVCA Team Academic Award for the seventh consecutive season. The American Volleyball Coaches Association made the announcement on Thursday, July 23.
The AVCA Team award has been recognized to the Majors for the last seven years and eight times in the last nine seasons.
Millsaps tallied a 3.53 GPA during the 2025-26 school year, and were one of 1,432 collegiate and high school volleyball teams maintained a year-long grade-point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale), to earn the 2026 AVCA Team Academic Award.
The Millsaps volleyball program will open its 2026 regular season at Belhaven University on Sept. 1 in Jackson, Miss.
