JACKSON, Miss.—The Millsaps College volleyball team will be co-hosting their annual invitational with Belhaven University inside the Hangar Dome. Fans, make sure you fill the dome to come support your Majors as they take on four opponents over the weekend. Live stats will be available, and the games will be streamed via FloCollege.
The Majors will compete against Centenary College beginning at 4 p.m. and Principia College starting with a 6 p.m. serve on Friday. The team will conclude the Invitational on Saturday against LeTourneau University at 10 a.m. and Huntingdon College, serving at 4 p.m.
SCOUTING TEAMS
Millsaps College Roster | Stats
The Majors enter the Invitational with a 3-2 regular-season record. Millsaps cruised through their season opener at Belhaven University, featuring a perfect 3-0 sweep inside the Heidelberg Gymnasium on Sept. 1. Last weekend the Majors secured a 3-1 victory against Alverno College and a 3-0 sweep in a matchup against Texas Lutheran University in the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Tournament.
Freshman Khloe Duncan is currently leading the Majors with 61 kills and 161 total attacks, while sophomore Madelynn Sasser places second among the team with 41 kills while contributing 12 digs.
Belhaven University Roster | Stats
The Blazers can expect great things from sophomore Tarryn Woodall, who was recently named C Spire Athlete of the Week. Woodall currently has 63 kills, 41 digs, and three blocks in five starts of the season thus far.
Classmate Maggie Joy Tomlin was also named the Collegiate Conference of the South Setter of the Week on Sept. 8. The Watkinsville, Georgia, product is the Majors lead runner with 132 assists, while placing 45 digs and five kills on the court.
Centenary College Roster | Stats
Freshman Danielle Primavera leads the Ladies with 14 kills, while junior Syndel Pena holds seven digs and three total blocks. Centenary is looking to secure their first win on the season in the tournament.
Huntingdon College Roster | Stats
The Hawks secured their first victory on the season against Pfeiffer University on Sept. 5 in the Emory Tournament following a 3-2 win against the Falcons.
Senior Destin Roberts will look to guide Huntingdon into the tournament with a team-high of 39 assists as senior Salome De Jesus and junior Morgan Suggs tie the team first with 19 total kills.
LeTourneau University Roster | Stats
The YellowJackets earned their first sweep on the season against Alverno College in a 3-0 defeat. Standout junior Ashlyn Walther is the top leader on the YellowJackets squad with 17 total blocks, while sophomore Hailee Perry is taking charge of the court with 79 assists.
Oglethorpe University Roster | Stats
The Stormy Petrels will be entering the invitational with a 2-2 regular-season record thus far, after claiming a 3-1 win against Piedmont University and sweeping Huntingdon College, 3-0, to crank up their 2026 Fall Slate.
Freshman Jane Pennington is currently leading the Stormy Petrels with 35 kills on the team, while junior Lauryn Frazier boasts 67 assists, and Madison Thompson is having a great season thus far with 10 total blocks.
Principia College Roster | Stats
The Panthers will be led by freshman Kaleigh Klouzek, the Fruita, Colorado, native, who leads Principia College with 33 digs and 19 assists and can play a huge role for her team in the invitational. Senior Dana Galinis will look to put numbers as a first-place standout among her teammates with five total blocks.
