2005: Played in 7 of 9 games forthe Majors at the backup QB spot... completed 35-of-70 (50 percent)passes for 477 yards and three TDs... first career TD pass was a49-yarder to Matt Foisy on Oct. 22 at DePauw... averaged 68.1yards/game passing... also rushed for 47 yards, including aseason-long 21-yarder... second on the team in total offense with524 yards, good enough for 74.9 yards/game... led Millsaps to a30-29 win over Rhodes in his first career start, completing21-of-30 passes for 280 yards and a pair of TDs.
High School: A three-sport athlete at2A West St. John High School... played football four seasons underhead coach Larry Dupont at quarterback... two-time state championsand three-time district champions... an all-state and all-districtselection his senior year... played SG on the basketball team,helping the squad to a pair of district titles and to the statechampionship game his senior year... named all-river Parish in2005... was also a two-time all-district selection in baseball atshortstop.
