Senior Season (Spring 2021): Second Team All-SAA selection … He appeared in all four games for the Majors … totaling team highs with 20 catches, 368 receiving yards, and tied for SAA-best four touchdowns ... He also had two tackles on the season for Millsaps. The longest catch of the season for him was a 79 yard touchdown against Trinity on Feb. 13. Russell had season highs in catches, receiving yards, and touchdowns with a stat line of 9-128-3 against Hendrix College on Feb. 6.

Junior Season (2019): Second Team All-SAA selection... Russell played in all ten games for the Majors, totaling a team-high 756 receiving yards, 58 receptions and nine touchdowns... He had a career-high 11 receptions and 208 receiving yards in the win over Sewanee on November 2nd... On September 6th, after he scored three touchdowns and had 102 yards on 10 receptions in a win over Westminster College, he was named the Southern Athletic Association Offensive Player of the Week.

Sophomore Season (2018): He played in nine games, totaling 342 yards receiving on 30 receptions... He scored a pair of touchdowns... Had a season-high 89 receiving yards in the Riverside Rumble win over Belhaven University on August 30th. 

Freshman Season (2017): He played in three games for the Majors.

Prior to Millsaps: He lettered in football, golf and soccer at Covington High School (Covington, Louisiana)... He won the Most Improved Award (football)... He was a member of the Honor Roll.

Personal: Majoring in Business with a concentration in Finance... He is active on campus with the Alpha Upsilon Chapter of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity... He is currently a member of the Lewis Wilson Fund finance class that is trying to pursue nationals for Millsaps College.
