Freshman Season (2019): Named to the SAA Academic Honor Roll... In his first season of collegiate football Horton played in one game, making a special teams tackle in a matchup with Berry College on September 28th.

Prior to Millsaps: He lettered in football, basketball and track & field at Hoover High School (Hoover, Alabama)... He was a member of the National Honor Society.
