2009:Playedin three games as a sophomore in the backup quarterbackposition… recorded three rushes for 28 yards, including along of 23 against Belhaven… had five completions for 20yards, including 12 yards (8 long) against Belhaven…finished with a 39.00 pass efficiency on the season… 9.3yards average per rush… 16.0 average total yardage pergame.

2008:Sawtime on the junior varsity squad as a freshman. 

High School: A two-year letterman at quarterbackfor head coach Steve Jones at Biloxi High School... threw for over1,000 yards his senior year and 13 touchdowns... also rushed for250 yards... named team’s Most Improved Offensive Player andwon the Iron Man Award... Biloxi Sun-Herald and WLOX Player of theWeek selection. 

Personal: Son of Timothy and Mary Murphy... bornin Grand Prairie, Texas... has two brothers, Patrick and Aaron...majoring in business.
