Sophomore Season (Spring 2021): A transfer from Mississippi College, Thompson appeared in all four games for the Majors ... With a quarterback rating of 90.8, Thompson completed 53.85 percent of his passes ... He went 7-13 passing for 81 yards and had a total of 53 rushing yards on 13.3 yards per a carry. He had all 81 of his passing yards and a season long 40-yard rush in a win against Rhodes College on March 14.

Prior to Millsaps: He played the 2019 season at Mississippi College.

High School: He was a football letterwinner at St. Amant High School (St. Amant, Louisiana)... He helped his team to a 2017 district championship... He was a member of the Composite All-Academic Team.
