Biography

Junior Season (Spring 2021): A transfer from Mississippi Valley State University, Shanklin appeared in three games in his first season at Millsaps ... Averaging 4.2 yards per a carry, Shanklin was second on the team in rushing yards with 114 ... He also had one touchdown and one reception for four yards to add to his resume. He had a season-high 66 yards against Austin College on March 6.

Prior to Millsaps: He played two seasons at Mississippi Valley State University. 

High School: He was a football, track & field and powerlifting letterwinner at E.D. White Catholic High School (Thibodaux, Louisiana)... He was named All-State in all three of those sports... He was named All-Region in both football and track & field for three consecutive seasons... He helped his football team to a district championship his senior season and his track & field team to a regional championship and third place overall finish in the state.

Personal: Majoring in Biology.
