Biography

2009:Playedin nine games as a junior… rushed for 129 yards and onetouchdown (against Trinity) in 40 carries… averaged 3.2yards per rush… had one reception for four yards… 133all-purpose yardage (14.8 yards per game)… recorded onetackle (unassisted) against Mississippi College in Backyard Brawl Xin the season opener.

2008:All-SCACHonorable Mention... played in all 12 games during his sophomoreseason... rushed 50 times for a career-high 290 yards and fiveTDs... averaged 5.8 yards-per-carry (second on the team)... had abreakout performance vs Colorado College, carrying the ball sixtimes for a career-high 76 yards and career-long 36-yard touchdownrun... also caught five balls for eight yards and a score and had apair of kick returns, including a 24-yard return at Centre... addednine tackles (three solo) on special teams. 

2007: Played in 5 of 10 games for the Majors...rushed seven times for 12 yards, including a season-long eight yardrun against Rhodes... averaged 1.7 yards per-carry... also returneda kickoff for 12 yards against Centre. 

High School: Lettered in football four seasons asa fullback and linebacker for head coach Jud Gartman at ClarkdaleHigh School … rushed for 1,639 yards in 2006 and 4,817 forhis career … three-time First Team All-District and DistrictCo-Offensive MVP in 2006 … First Team Class 2A All-State… Lettered in powerlifting four seasons, leading team tostate championship … USA Powerlifting National Champion in2007… earned first place in weight class and set a nationalsquat record for his age group with 600 pounds … alsolettered in baseball three seasons and track and field for oneseason. 

Personal: Son of Tim and Vickie Skinner …born and raised in Meridian, Miss … has a younger brother,Corey... majoring in business and plans on getting his MBA.
