    2010:Started and played eight games at defensive tackle... recorded 13tackles including a career high five on Sept. 25 against Trinity...had two sacks on the season including his first against MississippiCollege on Sept. 4.
    2009: Played in six games as atrue freshman… recorded first collegiate tackle (assisted)against Centre College… had one solo tackle at Sewanee.
    High School: A three-yearletter winner at linebacker for Head Coach Benny Saia at DutchtownHS... a two-time all-district and all-county selection...linebacker captain... also a four-year letter winner in wrestlingfor coach Rodney Sutherland where he was a three-time all-districtand all-county selection as well... 2008 Greco Roman and Freestylestate champion... placed 3rd in the city and 5th in the state.
    Personal: Son of Jason and GayThackrey... has two younger siblings, Katie and Alex... major inbiochemistry.
