Cooper Gross enters his second season on the Millsaps coaching staff in 2021 and has been promoted to outside linebackers coach.
Gross joined Millsaps in 2020 as the running backs coach. Prior to arriving in Jackson, Gross served as the quarterbacks coach at Adams State for two years.
During his three years and two played on the field, the Majors have combined for 18 student-athletes on the All-SAA Team, five SAA Players of the Week, 44 members on the SAA All-Academic Honor Roll and nine NFF Hampshire Honor Society inductees.
In his first season with the Majors, Gross coached a freshman All-Conference running back in Jaidon Horton.
Gross played quarterback and long snapper at Austin College.
He graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Austin College in 2018.
