Millsaps College Athletics

J.T. Patterson became the Millsaps running back coach in 2016 after beginning his coaching career as a graduate assistant during the 2015 season.
  
Prior to coaching, Patterson played four seasons as an offensive lineman for the Majors’ football team. Three of his four years playing were under the direction of current head coach Aaron Pelch. Patterson was a member of two Millsaps conference championship teams; the 2007 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference championship team, and the 2012 Southern Athletic Association championship team.
 
A Ridgeland, Mississippi native, Patterson graduated from Milllsaps in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity as a student.
