Kyle Harris joined the Millsaps football coaching staff as the tight ends and assistant offensive line coach in July 2021. The 2022 campaign will be Harris' second in Jackson.
The Majors combined for seven student-athletes on the All-SAA Team, four SAA Players of the Week, 20 members on the SAA All-Academic Honor Roll and five NFF Hampshire Honor Society inductees in 2021.

Prior to joining Millsaps, Harris served as the head coach at Christ Covenant School in Ridgeland, Miss. from 2018-2020. Harris also served as the co-offensive coordinator, run game coordinator, and quarterbacks coach for the Mississippi Wolfpack football team (14U national team) based out of Jackson, Miss. from 2019-2021.Â

Prior to moving to Mississippi, Harris lived in his home state of Alabama. While in Opelika, Ala., he served as the running backs coach and special teams coordinator for the semi-professional football team, the Opelika Chiefs (XSFL), for the 2014 season.

Harris also was the assistant varsity running backs coach at Clay Central High School in Lineville, Ala. in 2012. Additionally, he served as the assistant varsity running backs coach and defensive backs coach for Lineville High School from 2008-2011. Â

Harris received an associate’s degree in Industrial Electricity from Southern Union Community College in 2010 and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Liberty University in 2021.Â

Kyle is married to his wife, Morgan and the couple has one daughter, LittieAnn and one son, Charlie.
