Kyle Skierski is in his third year as the Majors Offensive Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach.  Skierski started his college career as the Millsaps offensive line coach in 2010.

Last year the Millsaps Offense led the SAA in fewest negative plays per game and finished 20th nationally. His offensive line also finished 1st in the SAA in sacks allowed and 12th nationally. The offensive line also had a 2.32 % sack rate, good enough for 1st in the conference and 8th nationally.  For the second consecutive year, the Majors finished first in the SAA in fewest penalties per game, finishing just out of the top 25 nationally.  The offense showcased running back Isaiah Talton, who blew up on the national stage peaking at 16th nationally at 7.04 yards per carry and finished 53rd nationally at 5.85 YPC.  The Millsaps offense threw for 19 touchdowns in 2017 which ranks 3rd during Coach Pelch’s tenure. Ty Durham caught 6 touchdowns which is the most by a Major since 2012.  In 2016 the Major rushing attack scored 21 touchdowns, which also ranks 3rd highest in Coach Pelch’s tenure.  After a week one win at Belhaven this year, Chance Clowers moved into 3rd all-time in completions.

Prior to his return to Millsaps, Skierski was the run game coordinator and offensive line coach at Birmingham Southern College in 2015 and the offensive line coach and recruiting coordinator at Aurora University, in Illinois in 2014.

Skierski spent three seasons as an offensive graduate assistant at Texas Christian University (TCU) from 2011-13.  During his first year at TCU, the team posted an 11-2 record, clinched a Mountain West Conference Championship with a perfect 7-0 conference mark and a Poinsettia Bowl victory over Louisiana Tech.  In 2012, TCU entered the Big 12 and had significant wins over Virginia, Baylor, West Virginia, and Texas. The team was also invited to play Michigan State in The Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl to close out a successful season.

During his tenure at TCU, the Horned Frogs had sixteen players drafted into the NFL: two first-round picks and 16 players with NFL contracts. Skierski was also involved in the development of three offensive linemen that saw time with the Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears. While at TCU, Skierski coached two All-Mountain West offensive linemen, four All-Big 12 offensive linemen, a Big 12 newcomer of the Year, a Big 12 offensive lineman of the Year and a Big 12 offensive player of the year.

Prior to his time at TCU, Skierski was the offensive line coach at Millsaps in 2010. He spearheaded a unit that produced Shane Bowser, who was the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference’s (SCAC) first 1,000-yard rusher in six years. The offense also finished first in the conference in total offense, producing over 400 yards a game, ranked first in pass efficiency and second in scoring offense scoring over 32 points-per-game. Skierski coached four all-conference offensive linemen including first team selection Nathan Quick and left tackle Adam Williams who played in the DIII all-star game in Salem, Virginia. Millsap’s wide receiver Michael Galatas was invited to the New Orleans Saints camp and made the 2010 the practice squad.

Skierski played football overseas for three seasons in Europe.  He played with the Danube Dragons in Vienna, Austria, and won a championship with the La Courneuve Flash in Paris, France. He was also a member of the Berlin Adler in Berlin, Germany.

A 2006 graduate of UC Davis with a degree in communications & organizational studies, Skierski started in 33 consecutive games as an offensive lineman with the Aggies. His senior year, he was an All-Great West Conference selection at left tackle and a 2006 recipient of the Aggie pride award, the highest honor presented to a UC Davis football player.

Skierski is married to the former Shelby Stehling. They have 2 daughters.  Keagan is 2 years old and they welcomed their second daughter Karson, in May.
