Ryan Myers joined the Millsaps football coaching staff in the fall of 2017 as the quarterbacks coach and recruiting coordinator.
Myers came to Millsaps from local Belhaven Univeristy where he spent two seasons as the quarterback coach for the Blazers. While there Belhaven was among the top passing offenses in the nation in 2016, averaging 421 yards through the air a game.
Prior to coaching at Belhaven, Meyers worked simultaneously for commercial real estate company CBRE and NBC Sports. Ryan had great success in both worlds, winning Emmy Awards for his work on the 2012 Super Bowl, 2010 NFL Playoffs, and the 2009 season of Sunday Night Football.
Meyers became a producer with for NBC’s Sunday Night Football during his senior year in college due to his football knowledge and reputation, which allowed him to earn his first Emmy at 22 years old.
Meyers played quarterback for the Tulane Green Wave during the 2005 Katrina season, and then transferred to Colgate University to finish his playing career. He graduated from Colgate in December of 2009 with a BA in biology.
Meyers is a graduate of Colgate University, earning his Bachelor of Arts in Biology.
