Steve Wallace joined the Millsaps coaching staff in 2019 as the inside linebackers coach.
The Majors combined for 21 student-athletes on the All-SAA Team, 57 members on the SAA All-Academic Honor Roll and nine NFF Hampshire Honor Society inductees in two seasons.
Prior to arriving in Jackson he worked with the San Francisco 49ers as an offensive and defensive line intern. During his time with the 49ers Wallace participated in all on-field drills, helped organize and operate team, defensive and special team meetings, evaluated prospective professional athletes and facilitated rookie development.
Before his time in San Francisco Wallace was the run game coordinator at Druid Hills High School in Atlanta, Georgia. There he implemented new run and pass game schemes. His offense led all rushers at the Spring Game with 211 yards.
In 2017 he started working at Auburn University as a recruiting personal graduate assistant. There he managed all of the 2018-2021 recruiting boards, facilitatated the high school game tracker and evaluated prospective student-athletes.
Wallace has also interned with the NAIA national office.
He graduated from Lindsey Wilson College in 2017 with a degree in communications, and holds a masters degree from Auburn in adult education.
