Johnson was named the Millsaps football assistant offensive line coach in summer 2022.
A 2022 Millsaps football graduate, Johnson joins the coaching ranks after earning his Bachelor of Business Administration and playing offensive line for four seasons.
The Kenner, La., native wore number 11 as the program’s 2021 Juan Joseph Memorial Award recipient. He was also inducted into the Sigma Alpha Alpha Honor Society and was a 2021 William V. Campbell Trophy nominee. In 2020, Johnson was named to the All-SAA Second Team.
Johnson was also selected Homecoming King as a senior. He is returning to the classroom to pursue his MBA.
