2011: Played and started in all ten games for the Majors as a true freshman... played guard and returns along with all other starting lineman.

High School: Played football at St. Andrew's in Jackson... named First Team All-District in his senior season for the Saints.

Personal: Son of Mark and Sheryl Smothers... has two siblings, Abbey and Mason... born 12/1/92... majoring in Biology with a minor in History.
