Junior Season (Fall 2024): Earned 2024 All-SAA First Team Defense honors ... 2024 D3football.com All-Region 3 Team - Third Team Defense ... 2024 C Spire Conerly Trophy Nominee ... 1x SAA Defensive Athlete of the Week ... Started in all nine games as a linebacker ... Led the team first with 39 solo tackles, 35 assisted tackles, and 74 total tackles ... Coalson finished his junior campaign dominating on the gridiron with five quarterback hurries, one fumble recovery, and 4.5 sacks on the season ... On Sept. 5 he recorded a season-high of 12 tackles against Belhaven University to help the Majors defeat the Blazers, 23-21, in a Thursday night Riverside Rumble game ... Coalson accumulated 10 total tackles against both Centre College and Hendrix College ... Coalson registered a fumble recover against Southwestern University on Oct. 19 ... Coalson assisted tackles and total tackles were placed third in the conference ...  At the end of the season, Coalson became a 2024 C Spire Conerly Trophy Nominee, recognizing him as one of Mississippi's top collegiate football players during the 2024 season

Sophomore Season (Fall 2023): Started in all 10 games for the Majors … Led the team with 59.0 overall tackles and 37 solo tackles … Coalson tallied a 3.5 -9 tackle for loss yards … During the 2023 season he added one interception, three quarterback hurries, and one breakup … Coalson also recorded nine tackles against Hendrix on Sept.23 … Caught his first interception of the season on Sept.30 against Birmingham-Southern.

Prior to Millsaps: Football and Basketball MVP ... All-Conference athlete ... MVP All-Conference as a running back and linebacker ... Was an All-Star MVP defensive player ... Won the state championship for basketball at local high school ... Coalson led his high school to the second and third round of the playoffs all four years.
