Sophomore Season (Spring 2021): Gaffney played in three games for the Majors … He recorded his lone tackle of the season against Trinity University on Feb. 13.

Freshman Season (2019): In his first season of collegiate football Gaffney did not see game action for the Majors.

Prior to Millsaps: He lettered in football, wrestling and baseball at the Haynes Academy for Advanced Studies (Metairie, Louisiana)... On the football field he was named All-District and was selected to play in the All-Star game... On the wrestling mat in the 182 lb class he finished sixth overall at the state championship, won the Parish Championship, and placed second at the George Trygg Memorial Tournament... He was a team captain for the football, wrestling and baseball teams... He studied in all honors classes and was a member of the honor roll.

Personal: Majoring in Biology... He is active on campus with the Kappa Alpha Order.
