High School:  Played softball for Coach Sanders and Coach Luke at 5A West Lauderdale High School ... was named Most Improved Offense Player in 2005 and all-district in 2006 ... team won state titles in 2003, 2004, and 2006 ... Lady Knight Award in 2007.

Personal:  Daughter of Tommy Matthews and Sharon Foy ... Born in Meridian, Miss.
