2011: Missed all of the second half of the season due to injury ... started five games and made one appearance in 27.1 innings pitched with five strikeouts and 1-2 record ... made her first start on Feburary 19th against Christian Brothers while earning her first win of the season ... her best outing came on March 6th against Birmingham-Southern as she pitched 6.1 while striking two and allowing one run.

High School: Lettered all four years of high school ... Four years All-Conference ... three years All-District ... Named Player of the Year in 2009 and 2010.

Personal:  Full name is Laurel Elizabeth Jones ... daughter of Leigh and Thomas Scales ... born November 21, 1991 ... Has a younger brother, Tripp Scales (13) ... majoring in Psychology whith a minor in English ... born November 21, 1991.
