Prior to Millsaps: Black lettered in softball at Ursuline Academy where she was a 5x starter ... Following her junior and senior year she named All-District ...  in 2023 she became a member of the LHSAA All-Academic Team ... Outside of the softball field Black was a Student Ambassador ... Member of the Mu Alpha Theta ... Latin Honors Society ... Student Council and Key Club. 

Personal: Majoring in Pre-Med with a minor in Latin ... Sister Camille Balck played softball for Millsaps College from 2020-2024 ... Dad played football for Mississippi College ... Daughter of Jim and Dorothy Black.
