Millsaps College Athletics

Mary Claire Shepard begins her first season with the Majors after attended Neville High School.  Mary Claire is a native of Monroe, LA and excelled both on and off the field of play at Neville.
 
She was a four year infielder and four year varsity letterman for softball. Mary Claire was also 2015 All State Honorable Mention Infielder, 2014 Youth Softball Association Pitcher of the Year, and a member of the 2015 Academic All State Team.  Her team placed fourth at the 2013 Little League World Series and made the State Quarterfinal 2012, 2013, and 2015.
 
Mary Claire was a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Interact Club, FCA, and placed second at the District Literary Rally.  She is the daughter of Mark and Melissa Shepard and majors in history here at Milsaps.
