Millsaps Women's Soccer team, in support of Go4TheGoal's mission to "improve the lives of children battling cancer by providing financial support, developing and implementing unique hospital programs, funding innovative research, and granting personal wishes," have decided to Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer®! The players wore gold shoe laces as part of the Go4theGoal's Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer® initiative against opponent Mississippi College. Money generated from Tech's gold lace sales, plus any additional donations received will support kids battling cancer.

Women's Soccer has already set and hit their goal of raising $500 in support of Go4theGoal!

Come watch and support Millsaps Women's Soccer team in their next home game as they take on cross-city rival Belhaven Sept. 27 at 5pm!

About Go4theGoal Foundation: Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer® started in 2011 in answer to requests from youth soccer teams in New Jersey that wanted to show their commitment to the fight against pediatric cancer. Today, teams across the country representing every sport from youth to professional have Laced Up in Go4theGoal's GOLD laces.

$5.00 from each pair of laces plus 100% of donations go back to helping kids with cancer and their families in the area the funds are raised.
