Box Score 2 GEORGETOWN, Tx. -- Millsaps Softball team goes 1-1 in doubleheader on the road against Southwestern University.
Millsaps won the first matchup against Southwestern in a hard-fought 3-2 game then lost in the second end of the doubleheader, 1-6. After these two games, the Majors are now 1-3 on the season heading into a doubleheader in Sherman, Tx. tomorrow against Austin College.
In the first matchup, the Majors were led by Pitcher
Kayla Davidson. Davidson pitched all seven innings, threw an excellent 12 strikeouts in the game and got the Win .
Rayne Gravat went 2-2 in her at-bats and walked in her third at-bat.
MK Bozeman also went 2-3 in her at-bats in the win.
In the back end of the doubleheader, the tables were turned on the Majors and they lost to Southwestern 1-6.
Rayne Gravat had another good game, going 2-3 at-bat.
The Majors will be back in action tomorrow against Austin College.
