Box Score JACKSON, MISS. -- Millsaps Softball defeated Belhaven 2-0 on Wednesday as their two pitchers, Kayla Davidson and Cassidy DeNoon combined to throw a shutout. Kayla Davidson struck out Makayla Reed to finish off the game.

The pitching was strong on both sides, hurlers for the Majors struck out six batters while Belhaven's pitcher, Taylor Surrento sat down nine.

Millsaps Softball captured the lead in the second inning. With one out in the second inning, Kaitlyn Casias drove in one run when she singled. Hannah Doggett, Kat Romero, Casias, and Rayner LeBlanc all had one hit to lead Millsaps Softball.
