Sophomore Goalkeeper
Alfie Miller (London, England) had a nice day in net. He came away with two saves including one on a penalty kick to keep the score 1-0 at the time.
Majors head coach
Steve Voltz said of his team that he was "very pleased to start the year with a win, Ozarks came out strong and the game was played at a good pace and it took us a while to adjust. Tore scored a nice free kick goal and Ozarks had a penalty kick that Alfie made a great save on to keep the score 1-0. The 2-0 was a great play all around by the guys, Tore had a fantastic finish on a side volley. I thought the second half was one of the most composed halves we played in a long time. We didn't allow very much and finished the game with a third goal when we had the opportunity. All around a great team effort and we know it's going to get tougher next week at Belhaven."
Millsaps continues its season on Monday on the road at Belhaven for a 7:00 p.m. start.
