Tyler Andrews, who was starting in place of the injured
Alfie Miller.
The teams played to a stalemate for the majority of the second half until Greenville tacked on an insurance goal in the 74
thminute. The Majors outshot the Panthers 8-6 in the second half but couldn't score.
Stat of the Game: Andrews, who was making his first collegiate start, had 7 saves on the night.
The Majors were led by
Brett Judd who had two shots on goal.
Words From the Coach:
"I'm extremely proud of the way the guys came out today after a hard fought 110 mins last night," head coach
Steve Voltz said. "We continue to put ourselves in great position, but fail to reward ourselves. In order for us to get rewarded for our outstanding efforts, we need to be more efficient in front of the goal."
