Trinity (5-0, 3-0 SAA) struck first with a 70-yard touchdown run up the middle on the second play from scrimmage.
Midway through the first quarter, a one-yard touchdown run for the Trinity would be called back for holding. The Tigers would then be forced to settle for a field goal attempt that sailed wide left to keep the game at 7-0.
Following a three-and-out by the Majors, Trinity would capitalize on good field position with a 42-yard flare pass for a touchdown to give them a 14-0 lead with 1:29 remaining in the first quarter.

Special team miscues to start the second half would plague the Majors. On a drive that started on the nine-yard line, the Majors stalled for another three-and-out. The ensuing punt would be blocked into the back of the endzone to extend Trinity's lead to 22-0.
The Tigers then chewed up clock with a 12-play, five-minute touchdown drive to put the game out of reach at 29-0. Trinity would add on 17 more points for a 46-0 victory.
