LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference unveiled its 19th and final 30th Anniversary Team with softball on Tuesday. Millsaps softball alum and third baseman Jennifer McKinley (2006-10) garnered a spot on the team after a tremendous four-year career for the Majors.

The Majors competed in the SCAC from 2000 to 2012 before the program joined the newly formed Southern Athletic Association (SAA). McKinley accompanies four Millsaps softball greats who were named to the 15th Anniversary Team during the 2005-06 academic year. They include infielders Robin Rockco and Christina Sharp as well as outfielder Barbara Balla and pitcher Tammy Ladner. The full list of those selections can be found here.
 
A four-time All-SCAC performer, including a three-time First Team honoree (2007, 2009, 2010), McKinley was named the league's Player-of-the-Year in 2010. That season, McKinley led the SCAC with 13 home runs and finished her career in Jackson with 28, which remains tied for the second most in league history.
 
The Frisco, Texas, native is among the league's all-time elite in numerous other career offensive categories; currently tied for sixth in doubles (44), tied for seventh in RBIs (127), 10th in hits (186) and 14th in batting average (.394).
 
The SCAC's 30th Anniversary Teams were selected through balloting by present coaches in each sport as well as administrators. Athletes who participated in conference competition between the fall of 2005 through the spring of 2020 and had been named to at least two All-SCAC Teams and/or were selected as a Player-of-the-Year in their respective sport were eligible for selection.
 
In total, Millsaps featured 13 former student-athletes across baseball, football, men's basketball and softball made one form of the SCAC 30th Anniversary Team.
