MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – Millsaps men's basketball sophomore wing
Cameron Williams tallied his fourth double-double of the season with 13 points and 10 rebounds off the bench in an 85-54 loss to (RV) Berry inside the Cage Center on Sunday.
Millsaps (2-16, SAA 0-8 SAA) shot an efficient 85 percent from the charity stripe (17-20) and turned 12 offensive rebounds into 10 second-chance points.
Berry (15-2, 6-1 SAA) did an excellent job sharing the ball as they won the assist battle 16-3 and shot 52.6 percent from the field.
With the score knotted up at 10-10 at the 15:35 mark, the Vikings outpaced Millsaps for a 37-14 run to end the first half.
Berry opened the second half by scoring 14 of the first 16 points. With the game in hand, the Vikings cruised to a victory in a rematch from a week ago.
Millsaps returns to the Hangar Dome and welcomes Sewanee on Friday. The game is scheduled for an 8 p.m. start, with live video and stats links found on the men's basketball schedule page at gomajors.com.
