Millsaps Athletics Student Worker Positions and Internships Now Available

JACKSON, Miss. – The Millsaps Athletic Department is pleased to announce numerous paid work opportunities and for-credit internships are currently available for incoming and returning students. Individual departments within athletics include Sports Information, Sports Medicine, Intramurals & Recreation, Gameday and within several athletic programs.
 
All job postings can be applied for online at Major Careers and any questions or interested candidates relating to for-credit internships can email sid@millsaps.edu. Students are allowed to apply and work in multiple positions.

The Sports Information Department has openings for Sports Information Workers. Roles range from photography, gameday statistics, play-by-play, music operator, scoreboard operators, ball retrievers, office work and more. Additionally, five for-credit internships are open, including Creative Writing, Graphic Design, Social Media, Sports Information and Video Productions. Internships may fulfill the Major Experience requirement and students can earn up to four credit hours while working in the department under the direction of the Director of Sports Information.

The Director of Sports Medicine also has openings for Athletic Training Student Workers as well as an Athletic Training Internship, which can also satisfy the Major Experience requirement along with credit hours.

Inside the Hall Activities Center, students can apply for the positions of HAC Front Desk Manager and/or Sports Intramural Worker.

Students may also apply for additional gameday positions, which include Athletics Gameday Staff and/or Concession Staff. Additionally, individual teams have job postings to have students help with program-related needs.
