JACKSON, Miss. – The Millsaps Athletics Department announced the creation of Club 40, an organization which recognizes academic success of 4.0 GPA attainment across all 18 programs at the college.
In early September, 32 student-athletes were honored for achieving a 4.0 GPA during the 2022 Spring Semester. The student-athletes were recognized with a luncheon and given Club 40 t-shirts for their accomplishments.
In total, 15 programs were represented. Football led the way with five honorees, while baseball, women's track and field and volleyball all tallied four recipients.
Each semester student-athletes who earn a 4.0 are set to be honored. Below is a list of members of the first-ever Club 40 organization.
