JACKSON, Miss. – The Millsaps College Department of Athletics recognized Club 40 for the third consecutive semester with a luncheon on Tuesday. A total of 30 well-deserving, student-athletes who accumulated a 4.0 grade-point average during the 2023 Spring Semester were honored.
Each student-athlete received or will be sent a prize relating to the number of semesters making the distinguished list. First-time members received a t-shirt, second-time members earned a pullover and third-time honorees garnered a tumbler.
Out of 30 student-athletes, 15 made Club 40 for the first time, seven made the list for the second semester, while eight made it for their third consecutive semester.
All told, 14 Millsaps College athletic programs had at least one scholar-athlete represent them.
