JACKSON, Miss. – The Millsaps softball team enters 2024 with high hopes on the field after announcing their schedule on Friday. The 39-game slate features 21 home games and six conference series ahead of postseason play.
The Majors will open their 2024 calendar hosting Centenary in a doubleheader on Friday, Feb. 9. On Feb. 11, the Majors remain at home to face Huntingdon in another twin bill.
Millsaps concludes its season-opening home stand by welcoming Schreiner on Feb. 16. The team will then travel to Columbus, Miss. to compete in the MUW Invitational and face MUW and Franklin College two games each, Feb. 17-18.
The Majors then return to host Dillard University for a March 2nd doubleheader and later trace to Shreveport, La. for a three-game series at Centenary, March 9-10.
Conference action gets underway at Rhodes, March 16-17. The team will then face Belhaven in a doubleheader across the street on March 19.
Millsaps will continue conference matchups by hosting Birmingham-Southern, March 23-24 and Centre, March 29-30.
The Majors follow by battling Belhaven in another pair of games on April 2 at the Millsaps Softball Complex.
Millsaps resumes conference action at Sewanee, April 6-7 and later hosts MUW for a final non-conference double dip on April 10.
Millsaps concludes their SAA slate at Berry, April 13-14 before hosting Hendrix, April 20-21.
The SAA Tournament take place over two weekends with a Double-Elimination Format, April 26-27 and the SAA Championship Series, May 3-4.
