LOUISVILLE, Ky. – A total of 11 Millsaps softball members were named Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
Freshmen Madeline Black, Allana Vasquez, sophomores Cassidy Cannella, Kinsey Smith and Julia Strain, junior Alli Nolen along with seniors Camille Black, Haylie Hoffpauir, Brianna Newman, Katie Norris and Molli Perry secured the honor for the Majors.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must have achieved a 3.5 or better cumulative GPA for the academic year.
A full list of all schools and athletes being honored will be released by the NFCA in the fall, including the recognition of the Top 10 Academic teams in each division.
