Millsaps Soccer Trio Earns All-SAA, Sportsmanship Accolades

Bremond, Lozano, Walden Recognized by Conference on Tuesday

CANTON, Ga. — Millsaps men's and women's soccer trio of junior Alex Bremond, senior Emily Lozano and freshman Myles Walden all had impressive 2025 seasons and each earned Southern Athletic Association honors. Bremond was named All-SAA Second Team - Midfield, Lozano was selected both All-SAA Honorable Mention and made the All-SAA Sportsmanship Team, while Walden also earned a spot on the All-SAA Sportsmanship Team.

Bremond finished the regular season tied for fifth in the conference in both goals (seven) and points (17), courtesy of her three assists and scoring prowess. She also led the team in goals, assists, points, shot attempts (21) and shots on goal (13). The Slidell, La., product last season was named All-SAA Honorable Mention and set a career-best with her seven goals.

Lozano made All-SAA Honorable Mention for third time of her career. She posted collegiate highs in saves (170), which was the most in the conference as well. Lozano's 170 saves were third-most in a single season, while her 444 career saves tie her for second in program history.

On the men's side, the Majors posted the seventh-most goals per game (1.94) in a single season, helped by Walden's eight goals. His eight goals are currently tied for fifth in the conference and his 17 points rank eighth. The Fort Mitchell, Ala., native broke through in a big way in his first collegiate season, scoring twice as many goals as the next closest Major on the team.
