Men’s Tennis Claims Both SAA Weekly Plaudits after Spring Break Tennis

Chassaignac, Dulaney, Tuli Recognized by Conference on Tuesday

CANTON, Ga. – The Millsaps men's tennis trio of senior Carson Chassaignac, fellow senior Anderson Dulaney and junior Sam Tuli were recognized with Southern Athletic Association weekly honors after excellent showings at Spring Break Tennis in Orlando.

Chassaignac was selected the SAA Men's Tennis Singles Athlete of the Week, while Dulaney and Tuli were tabbed the SAA Men's Tennis Doubles Athletes of the Week by conference head coaches on Tuesday.

Chassaignac finished his last three matches at Spring Break Tennis with a 2-1 record in Florida. He bested foes from University of Northwestern - St. Paul (6-1, 6-1) and Piedmont University (7-5, 6-2) on Court Two.
 
Dulaney and Tuli recorded a 3-1 record in their last four matches at Spring Break Tennis in Orlando. The duo bested foes from University of Northwestern - St. Paul (7-6), Piedmont University (6-4) and Connecticut College (7-5) on Court One.

Millsaps men's tennis swept both sets of awards for the first time since March 9, 2022.
 
The Majors will next host Belhaven University on Saturday, March 22 before hosting Southwest Community College on Sunday, March 23 for Senior Day. Both matches begin at 10 a.m. with the women's team starting the matches followed by an approximate 12 p.m. start for the men's team.
