CANTON, Ga. — Millsaps softball sophomore right-handed pitcher
Hailey Marange had a stellar week inside the circle, and she was recognized as the Southern Athletic Association Pitcher of the Week following a conference-wide SID vote on Monday.
She collected a pair of wins in three appearances for the Majors during the team's Spring Break games on the road. In 14.0 total innings pitched, she tallied a 1.0 ERA, four strikeouts, with only two earned runs, and three walks against. Marange's week was highlighted with a complete seven-inning shutout at Hendrix, allowing just three hits and two walks.
The Madisonville, La., product joins junior
Ella Morgan Sears with SAA weekly honors as Sears was selected the SAA Softball Athlete of the Week on March 2.
