JACKSON, Miss. – The Millsaps College men's and women's track and field programs will be competing in the 2026 SAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, April 24-25 in Mt. Berry, Ga.

On the women's side, junior Fiona Selders has been a standout in the sprints, ranking seventh across the SAA in both the 100 meters (12.33 seconds) and 200 meters (25.29).
Sophomore Suzanna Busbee has also contributed in the short sprints, placing 23rd in the 100 meters (13.68) and 29th in the 200 meters (28.16).
Senior Eleanor Scott continues to lead in the field events, entering the conference meet ranked seventh in the triple jump (11.11m), while also tying for 11th in the high jump (1.47m).
Freshman Katie Brown matches that high jump mark, also sitting tied for 11th (1.47m).
In distance events, sophomore Claudia Dempsey will compete in the 3000-meter steeplechase, where she is currently ranked 18th (13:27.88).
The Majors have also seen strong performances in the throwing events.
Junior Reese Brasseaux leads the way with a second-place ranking in the discus (39.80m), while junior Amelia Bohl ranks 10th in discus (34.84m) and 14th in the hammer throw (37.86m).
Senior Amari Jackson-Wright is ranked 15th in the shot put (10.57m) and 17th in discus (32.05m).
In the javelin, sophomore Laken Day enters ranked ninth (28.40m), with classmate Molly Northam is just behind in 11th (27.90m).
On the men's side, Millsaps features strong depth in the sprints, led by sophomore Aidan Brice, who ranks 23rd in the 100 meters (11.31) and 30th in the 200 meters (23.26).
Freshman Nick Price (24th, 11.32) and freshman Wyatt Wheeler (29th, 11.39) also contribute in the 100 meters, with Wheeler adding a 15th-place mark in the long jump (6.13m).
Freshman Luke LeFors has been a key performer in the sprint events as well, ranking 16th in the 400 meters (51.45) and 25th in the 200 meters (23.03).
In middle-distance action, freshman Benjamin Sylve is ranked 20th in the 800 meters (1:58.65), while sophomore Greer Hernandez leads the distance group with a 10th-place ranking in the 5000 meters (15:15.96).
Freshman Dallas Stricker also ranks eighth in the 3000-meter steeplechase (10:25.27).
Freshman Frederick Fluker Jr. adds to the lineup in the hurdles, entering ninth in the 110-meter distance (16.14).
In the field events, freshman Sean Wyers leads the throws group, ranking seventh in the discus (42.44m). He is joined by freshman Michael Cosgriff (15th in discus, 37.35m; 15th in shot put, 12.31m) and sophomore Dillon Duley (13th in shot put, 12.61m; 21st in discus, 34.66m). Junior Jacari Watson also contributes across multiple throwing events.
The Majors' 4x100-meter relay team of Brice, Wheeler, Fluker Jr. and sophomore W.H. Carver is currently ranked sixth with a time of 43.35 seconds.
