JACKSON, Miss. — The Millsaps College Department of Athletics and Millsaps College recognized several student-athletes at the 132nd Annual Commencement inside the Christ United Church on Saturday, May 9. 
   
A total of 62 student-athletes' names were called, with many walking across the stage to receive their degrees during the 2026 Spring Commencement from Millsaps College President Frank Neville. They each were greeted with a handshake and degree in recognition of their accomplishments. A select group also had individual, Greek Life, academic, and honorary awards presented to them as well. 

These student-athletes will always have something to remember, remaining a part of Millsaps College community as they look forward to a bright future ahead of them. All together, 11 Millsaps College Athletics programs had at least one graduate or postgraduate represent them.
   
A total of 50 student-athletes out of 121 undergraduates received or intend to receive their Bachelor's degrees, which is 41 percent of the senior student population. Spring undergraduates included 47 student-athletes and 111 students overall. December 2025 graduates were also listed with three out of seven competing in athletics during the 2024-25 campaigns. 

Spanning December 2025, the Spring and Summer semesters, 23 students received or will earn the Master's degrees. A dozen student-athletes added to this postgraduate total, which is 52 percent.
