FloSports and SAA Announce Exclusive Media Rights Partnership

AUSTIN, Texas – FloSports and the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) announced on Tuesday an exclusive media rights partnership that will bring comprehensive coverage of SAA athletics to the FloCollege platform, beginning with the 2026–27 athletic year. Through this agreement, FloSports will serve as the global home for live and on-demand SAA competitions across its member institutions.

The SAA becomes the 12th NCAA Division III conference to join FloCollege, further strengthening FloSports' growing footprint in the division. As part of its continued investment in Division III athletics, FloSports will provide the SAA access to its FloSports Production Suite - a comprehensive production solution designed to elevate stream quality, broadcast graphics, and overall viewer experience. The Production Suite has delivered consistent 60 FPS video feeds, improved stream reliability, and enhanced storytelling capabilities across partner broadcasts.

"The Southern Athletic Association represents everything that makes Division III athletics special: elite competition, strong academic institutions, and a commitment to developing student-athletes beyond the field of play," said John Turner, VP and General Manager of FloCollege. "As the twelfth Division III conference to partner with FloCollege, they've allowed us to continue our investment in growing these programs and building the go-to destination in this space."

The SAA's core membership includes Berry College, Centre College, Maryville College, Millsaps College, Oglethorpe University, Rhodes College, The University of the South (Sewanee), Southwestern University, and Trinity University. The conference competes across a broad range of men's and women's sports and stands out on the national stage with multiple Final Four appearances in women's volleyball, two NCAA football playoff teams, and three national championships in women's indoor track & field.

"This partnership with FloSports marks a significant step forward for the Southern Athletic Association as we continue to elevate the visibility and experience of our student-athletes," SAA Commissioner Stacey LaDew added. "With a truly national footprint, our institutions attract
student-athletes from across the country, and expanding the accessibility of high-quality coverage ensures their accomplishments can be shared with family, friends, and supporters wherever they may be. In a rapidly evolving landscape, this agreement allows us to invest meaningful resources into the quality, reach, and storytelling of our broadcasts, while partnering with a proven leader in this space. Furthermore, FloSports' expertise will be instrumental in supporting and equipping our athletic communications professionals with the tools and knowledge
needed to enhance production on our campuses and continue raising the bar for the SAA."

Guided by its four core values - Academic Excellence, Athletic Excellence, Exceptional Culture, and Co-Curricular Learning - the SAA emphasizes the holistic development of student-athletes while delivering a high level of competition that resonates with fans nationwide.

Chair of the President's Council of the Southern Athletic Association and Oglethorpe University President Kathryn McClymond added this about the agreement, "The Presidents' Council is proud to support this partnership because it advances how we serve our student-athletes and their communities. FloSports helps ensure that the hard work and achievements of our teams are visible to families, alumni, and fans wherever they live. Just as important, this partnership reflects our shared commitment to telling meaningful stories and providing a high-quality, mission-aligned platform that elevates the entire SAA."

"We are excited to enter into this partnership with FloSports as it represents a significant step forward for our department and the Southern Athletic Association," said Millsaps College Director of Athletics, Justin LeBlanc. "This agreement allows us to reinvest in the resources that directly impact our student-athlete experience. From staffing and technology to the overall quality of our broadcasts, this model will allow us to showcase our programs in a more consistent and professional manner. FloSports' expertise in digital streaming and their commitment to telling the stories of Division III student-athletes will help us elevate the visibility of Millsaps Athletics and better connect our community with the exceptional work happening on and off the field."

Jim Duncan, Rhodes Director of Athletics, added, "The partnership continues our commitment to elevating the profile and national identity of Rhodes College and the Southern Athletic Association. The revenue generated will allow institutions to better support staffing, equipment, and infrastructure needed to elevate our broadcasts to an even higher level of fan-friendliness. But, most importantly, it gives our remarkable student-athletes another media opportunity to be recognized for the commitment to NCAA DIII and the true student-athlete experience."
