JACKSON, Miss. — The Millsaps College Department of Athletics recognized 103 student-athletes who excelled academically by making the President's List or Dean's List following the 2026 Spring Semester. 
 
Undergraduate students who earn a GPA of 3.85 or higher are named to the President's Scholars List, while those achieving at least a 3.5 GPA are recognized on the Dean's Scholars List. 

All honored students have completed a minimum of 12 semester hours, received grades of C or higher in all courses, and upheld the standards of good citizenship as judged by the president and the dean.

Being a student-athlete can be very challenging in many aspects, as it requires balancing academics and sports throughout each semester.

Outside of sports, these student-athletes dedicate their time to maintaining high academic standards while completing their studies and excelling in athletics.

Millsaps College recognized 200 total students, 103 of whom were student-athletes. Among them, 10 were multi-sport athletes that competed during both the Fall and Spring semesters.

The Millsaps men's soccer team led the way on the President's List, with 11 student-athletes.

The Millsaps women's soccer team followed with eight scholars, while the Millsaps baseball and volleyball teams placed third with seven honorees each following the 2026 Spring Semester.

On the Dean's List, the Millsaps volleyball team claimed the top spot with 11 selections, followed by the football team with nine. 

The Millsaps baseball and women's basketball programs each had six players earn a place on the list.

Combining both the Deans' and Presidents' Lists, volleyball led with 18 athletes, men's soccer had 17, while women's soccer and baseball had 13 honorees.
